After suffering a back injury, falling off a horse about 10 years ago prior to that, I had suffered from constant low grade pain, with extreme interludes, when I “put my back out” every 6 months or so. Doctors insisted it was “just muscle damage” and prescribed muscle relaxants, pain killers and bed rest.
When, in desperation, I first visited a chiropractor, 10 years after the original accident, I was x-rayed for the first time and, for the first time the problem was properly diagnosed.
